Object

To move all the cards to the waste pile.

Layout

•

14 tableau piles (across top) - no building. Top card of each pile is available for play on the waste pile. At the start of the game 7 cards are dealt to the 1st and 14th piles, 9 cards to the 2nd and 13th, 11 cards to the 3rd and 12th, 13 cards to the 4th and 11th, 15 cards to the 5th and 10th, 17 cards to the 6th and 9th, and 19 cards to the 7th and 8th piles. All cards are face up.

•	stock (face down below tableau) - turn over 1 card to the waste by clicking.

•	waste (next to stock) - build up or down regardless of suit, wrapping from Ace to King or King to Ace as necessary.

Notes

•	Play cards from the tableau to the waste if possible. Whenever there are no possible plays, turn over a card in the stock by clicking on it. This card goes to the waste pile.

History

Quartermaster Open is a variation of Quartermaster with all cards face up in the tableau.
